8U Playoff Bracket Set After Final Weekend Shakeup
The regular season has officially come to an end, and the 8U playoff bracket is now set.
The biggest change came on the final weekend when the Wiggins Phillies capped off their season with an impressive 11-0 victory over the Nationals. The win moved the Phillies to 7-2-1 and vaulted them into the No. 2 seed heading into postseason play.
At the top of the standings, the R.E. Pierson Materials Dodgers held onto the No. 1 seed after a dominant 9-1 regular season. The Dodgers led the division with 73 runs scored while allowing just 20 runs all year, making them the team to beat as the playoffs begin.
The Central Penn Propane Rockies finished strong to earn the No. 3 seed at 7-3, while the High Efficiency Solutions Cubs secured the No. 4 spot after a competitive season. The Warfel Construction Pirates rounded out the top five and will look to pull off an upset when tournament play starts.
